There's a fast-growing part of the cannabis industry that doesn't involve pot: a compound known as cannabidiol, or CBD. JS: If "bad reaction" means that the psychoactive effects of marijuana were undesirable, then the person should not fear the same with CBD, as it is not psychoactive. Some studies have revealed that CBD represents more than 40% of the hemp plant's extract. Medical professionals and scientists are only now beginning to develop dosing schedules for medical marijuana, medicinal hemp, and their extracts (including CBD).
